It was a joyous occasion for the parents of 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐞, 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐬 as they received their Sacrament of First Holy Communion on the 14th December 2024. They only have gratitude in their hearts as God had granted their prayers.
The 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐢 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐀𝐁𝐂) a special need ministry and the parishioners of SFA congratulate them. ABC also animated the mass for International Day of Persons of Disabilities (IDPD).
Natalie Bianca, a gold and silver winner for swimming at Paralympic SUKMA 2024 and SFA parishioner was invited to give a speech in which she shared her thoughts of affirmation and encouragement. She also gave a few pointers to take home:
ask before giving assistance
avoid being sympathetic or pity
to be treated as equal in terms of skills, talents, interests and experiences as all of us are created in His image and likeness.
Father Paul Chong thanked ABC for animating the mass. Last but not the least ABC would like to thank the Parish multimedia, Hospitality ministry, Flower ministry, L&C ministry and Catechetical ministry for their utmost support throughout the whole mass.
