Born into a very poor but devout Christian family, Felix worked as a cobbler for many years. Despite a strong desire from a young age to join the Capuchins, he was refused admission for eight years, likely due to his lack of formal education and poor health. He was finally accepted at the age of 28 and went on to spend his life carrying out the humblest tasks with extraordinary dedication.
Deeply devoted to the Eucharist and the Passion of Christ, he spent long hours in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. He was also blessed with gifts of healing and prophecy, and many experienced spiritual graces and even physical healing through his intercession during his lifetime.
Reflection: Which gifts of the Holy Spirit do I sense God may be stirring in my life?
