Isaiah 52 ~ a Servant of the Lord (Jesus Christ) - because of His affliction, He shall see the light and fullness of days, through His suffering My Servant shall justify many from their guilt
By Jesus' Passion, Death and Resurrection - (salvation for mankind); to save us for our guilt
Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice to atone for the sins of humanity, leading to the victory of Resurrection Easter Sunday
"Good" because it represents the Father's plan of Redemption & the Sacrificial Lamb (Holy) who is the Son of God, Son of Man - Jesus Himself
Without Good Friday - the Cross & Calvary, there is no Easter - Tomb and Resurrection (new life for all)
Jesus gave His life to all mankind, enabling salvation, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God the Father
The events leading to Good Friday and Easter Sunday, fulfilled prophecies, made possible God's plan and will allow many to live
Good Friday is truly a good day @ 1 + 2 + 3 = LOVE ~ 1 Son of Man (Jesus, the Lamb of God) + 2 pieces of wood (the Cross) + 3 nails = Good Friday - this is the kind of LOVE that saves the world... Because by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.
