"The Mission is given ... The Fire is Coming"

Lord Jesus,
You have ascended to the Father,
but You have not left us alone.
You have entrusted us with Your mission:
To be Your witnesses,
to make disciples,
to bring Your love to the world.
Yet You also tell us to wait, to pray,
to prepare our hearts for the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, prepare us for Your Fire.
Deepen in us the desire to pray daily,
to love your Word,
to live in fellowship,
to serve with humility,
and to share our faith with courage.
May the 8 Habits prepare our hearts
to receive the fullness of Your Spirit.
For the mission is given,
and the Fire is coming.
Fire. Only Jesus.
Amen.
