Mission Beyond Borders (MBB) Street Feeding Outreach (20 May)

On Tuesday, 20 May 2025 as part of our church ongoing missionary calling, the MBB team of St. Francis of Assisi Church (SFA) went beyond the walls of the church to bring Christ’s love to the streets of Pudu, in collaboration with our friends from Street Shepherd Outreach (SSO). With 14 volunteers (MBB team members, family, and SSO friends), we distributed packed warm meal i.e. Chicken Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng and bottled mineral water to the homeless and urban poor around Pudu.

The evening started with a short prayer and setup at the site, followed by food distribution from our base and walkabouts through nearby streets. The team served humbly, showing Christ’s love through action, no preaching, just kindness. It was a beautiful reminder that even the simplest gesture like a warm meal can reflect God's heart for the forgotten and overlooked.

Thank you to everyone who served, supported and prayed for this mission. Praise God for a meaningful night of service! Let us continue living out our calling, to bring light, hope, and love to places beyond our church walls.
