NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT (Day 3: The Gift of Piety)

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, bestowed by the Holy Spirit, kindles in us a tender, filial love for God, a love that mirrors the affection of a devoted child for a loving Father. This gift moves our hearts to revere and adore God with humility and joy, recognising Him as our Creator, Redeemer, and Lord.

Piety also calls us to honour the order God has established, showing respect to parents, elders, and rightful authority, and to embrace our brothers and sisters with genuine love and compassion. It transforms duty into delight, and service into worship.

𝗢 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁, 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆,

fill our hearts with childlike love for God,

and teach us to honour Him in all we do.
