On Saturday, May 9, the St. Pio Room at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi (SFA) was buzzing with spiritual and academic energy as we hosted our SPM Bible Knowledge (BK) Seminar for the second year running!

We were thrilled to welcome 44 Form 4 and Form 5 students from across the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur (and beyond!), all eager to master the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles.

Here’s a quick look at how the intensive 10-hour day unfolded:

  • 21st-Century Learning: We kicked off at 7:30 AM with a modern twist! In collaboration with the Christian Teachers Federation (CTF), students tackled the FCMSM BK26 Online Quiz. Massive congrats to everyone who walked away with top-scorer prizes, certificates, and valuable co-curricular points!

  • Expert Guidance: Our students had the privilege of learning exam strategies, time management, and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) essay writing from two veteran educators: Mr. Helton Culas and Mdm. Amelia Tan.

  • A Spirit of Communion: A huge shoutout to the 20 dedicated BK teachers and educators who traveled from various parishes (Cheras, PJ, Sentul, Puchong, Jasin, Seremban, and Melaka) to support our youth.

We wrapped up at 5:30 PM with a powerful reminder from our facilitators: studying Bible Knowledge isn’t just about the A’s on a report card—it’s about building a lifelong foundation on the Word of God.

Thank you to everyone who made this day a resounding success. Please keep our bright SPM candidates in your prayers as they continue their exam preparations!
