OFS Permanent Profession and Admission on 18th April 2026

The Order of Secular Franciscans (OFS), Cheras had a Eucharistic Celebration on 18th April 2026 for 9 of its members who took their Rite of Permanent Profession and Rite of Admission into the Order of Secular Franciscans. Some of these members have endured and persevered even in the most difficult times of their Formation – the COVID period, a most challenging time.
It was a very significant moment to see 4 of our members take their Permanent Profession and another 5 being accepted into the Fraternity of St Francis of Assisi, Cheras. They have willingly said ‘YES’ with a strong conviction in wanting to follow the path and life of St Francis of Assisi. Having this Eucharistic Celebration in this special Year of St Francis it is an occasion for us to celebrate with great joy and happiness. We pray for more people to join us in walking this path.
