More than 250 Christians from nine churches gathered at the Church of St Francis of Assisi (SFA), Cheras, on 19 July for an Ecumenical Prayer Service marking the 2026 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
Inspired by Ephesians 4:4, pastors and church leaders proclaimed the Word of God and shared reflections on our common calling to unity in Christ.
We were blessed by the participation of Charis Sanctuary, Emmanuel Community Church AG, Faith Covenant Church International, FGA Cheras English, Abundant Life, Bethsaida Assembly of God, Gospel Lighthouse Church, Mudun Chinese Methodist Church, and the SFA community. Also present was the PMEIA team from the Cathedral of St John.
Organised by the Parish Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs (PEIA) Ministry of SFA, the evening concluded with fellowship over a shared meal at St John Paul II Hall.
May we continue to grow together as one body in Christ, witnessing His love and hope to the world.
