HABEMUS PAPAM!
Praise be to God for the election of Pope Leo XIV (Cardinal Robert Prevost), the 267th Successor of St. Peter.
With thanksgiving and joy, we join the universal Church in welcoming our new Holy Father. Let us unite in prayer for him:
That the Holy Spirit may guide him with wisdom, courage, and strength;
That he may continue the legacy of Pope Francis, working to heal divisions and to restore peace, justice, and unity in our troubled world;
That he may shepherd the Church with compassion and fidelity, continuing the mission entrusted to St. Peter by Jesus: to proclaim the Gospel to the very ends of the earth.
May the Lord, who has called Pope Leo XIV to this sacred office, bless and sustain him in his apostolic ministry for the good of the Church and the glory of His Name.
“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church.” (Matthew 16:18)
