Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Sacred Heart of Jesus burns with love, mercy, and self-gift for all humanity. No one knew this Heart better than Mother Mary. She carried it beneath her own, nurtured it, suffered as it was pierced, and now calls us to entrust ourselves to this Magnificent Heart.

Mama Mary teaches us how to give from the heart out of love. Her own life was a continual offering, poured out for God’s plan. In honouring the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we are invited to imitate Jesus' love and Mary’s generous “ Yes ~ Fiat. ”

O Heart of Jesus blaze of love, send down Your Spirit burning fire...

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of You, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your tender Mother and ours, Amen.
