𝗦𝗙𝗔 𝗖𝗖𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 (𝟮 𝗔𝗨𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱)

Saturday night’s CCR gathering at St. Francis of Assisi began with warm fellowship and spirit-filled praise and worship that lifted hearts and opened us to God’s movement among us.

We were blessed by a stirring message from brother 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗵 from the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Klang, who reminded us that every Christian vocation begins with a “𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦” and ends with a “𝘎𝘰”. We are called not only to gather and pray, but to go forth and bear fruit in our homes, communities, and workplaces.

With deep conviction, he shared that “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦." Through our actions, gestures, and daily encounters, we proclaim Christ often without words. As St. Francis of Assisi said, “𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺, 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴.”

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻. Our wounds can be someone else’s source of healing. Brother Damien urged us to see our lives as stories of grace, each one unique and powerful enough to lift another soul.

He reminded us that a thriving prayer group isn’t measured by numbers, but by the lives it touches outside the prayer room. Like the early Church, we are meant to 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲.

The evening ended with a time of personal prayer and ministry, where the Spirit moved gently yet powerfully among us.

Let’s continue this mission; not just monthly, but daily. Let our prayer meetings fuel our fire, not replace our mission.

𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀. The Church exists to evangelise, and that includes you.
