Walking with Christ: Our First Franciscan Way of the Cross

Our parish community gathered for our first 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 on 20 February 2026.
It was a joy to witness such a wonderful turnout. Parishioners with mobility challenges participated within the church, while many others journeyed through the outdoor Way of the Cross. Though in different spaces, we remained united in prayer, walking together with Christ.
The Franciscan Way of the Cross invites us to contemplate not only Christ’s suffering, but also the love and mercy revealed through His Passion. Rooted in the spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi, this devotion calls us to walk closely with Jesus, to recognise His presence in our own crosses, and to respond with trust, humility, and hope.
We invite you to join our next Franciscan Way of the Cross this coming Friday, 𝟮𝟳 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝘁 𝟲.𝟭𝟱𝗽𝗺, followed by 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝟳𝗽𝗺.
