When Stories Become a Witness of Hope
On 1 October, 11 adults and 8 youths from St. Francis of Assisi Church (SFA) had the joy of being part of HopeVoiced2.0_AlphaMY at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. It was an inspiring evening that brought people together from different Christian denomination through worship, stories, vision and generosity.
From the opening worship to the sharing of personal testimonies, we were reminded that every story carries a purpose when it is placed in God’s hands. Many participants came forward to share how hope, faith and God’s grace have shaped their journeys and we were blessed to be among those who shared our own story.
As we reflected on the vision for 2033 and witnessed the generosity of many, we were reminded that hope is not meant to be kept to ourselves. It is meant to be voiced, lived and shared.
May the stories shared continue to inspire many hearts and point them back to Christ. As for SFA Church, it is the source of our hope and the fire of our journey continues!
