𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐄: 𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐁 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐎𝐃 "𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑"
Warm greetings to all members of our treasured SFA community and friends from parishes near and far!
Just yesterday, on 2 June 2023, we journeyed further into the spiritually enriching landscape of the Book of Exodus during our second week. We specifically explored Chapters 11-13, reflecting deeply on the seminal event of the Passover, guided by the theme "Lamb of God - Passover."
Under the adept guidance of Rev. Fr. David Reegon OFM Cap., we tackled the profound question: How do we break the bitterness of the curse? We explored the transformative symbolism of seeking protection in the Blood of the Lamb and embarking on a journey with unleavened bread, insights that expanded our understanding beyond the pages of the scripture.
The gathering went beyond the norm, immersing participants in a transformative experiential learning opportunity. We shared a symbolic Seder meal, sparking rich discussions and reflections on the spiritual significance of unleavened bread, roasted lamb, and bitter herbs.
Fr. David's deep dive into the Passover further illuminated our understanding, helping us connect this significant biblical event to Jesus's selfless sacrifice and our daily life experiences.
We invite you to browse through the photos from our gathering and the simple guide that captures the essence of our shared experience.
Extend your spiritual journey with us! If you're part of the SFA community or from any other parish, we wholeheartedly invite you to our next gathering on 9th June 2023, Friday, 8-10pm at the John Paul II Hall. To join us, register here: https://bit.ly/LECTIO2023
