Spreading the Message of Christmas through Musical Evangelization

This year, 2024, through the ministry of the English Choir of St Francis of Assisi and support from the various ministry and church members, a Christmas Musical with a theme '𝐁𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐞' was organized. The Musical happened before the Christmas Eve Mass on the 24th of December at 9.30pm.

The Musical was aimed at achieving Evangelization through art and Music expression. The theme was centred around the person of Mary, which provided an example to all in saying 'yes' to God, trusting God and surrendering to God's will more and more everyday.

The entire preparation and delivery of the Musical also promoted various elements of the '𝟖 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠' namely:

• Daily Prayer (Mk 1:35)

• Daily Bible Reading (1 Sam 3:10)

• Loving Fellowship (Mt 22:37-40)

• Loving Service (Mt 20:28)

• Faith Sharing (Mt 28:19-20)

• Christian Meditation (Ps 46:10)

• Mindful Living (1 Th 5:16-18)

• Healthy Lifestyle (1 Cor 6:19-20)
