Hello everyone, from our cherished SFA community and all who walk with us in faith!

Yesterday, on the 16th of June 2023, we embarked on yet another enriching session, guided by Rev. Fr. David Reegon ofm.cap. We continued our journey through the Book of Exodus, this weekโ€™s exploration focused on Chapters 17-19, under the theme 'The Wilderness: The Spiritual Battle'.

We were privileged to start our session with an inspiring praise and worship segment led by some members from Alpha International team from Bangalore, India. Their spiritual songs and prayers stirred our hearts, perfectly setting the stage for the exploration of our theme.

In our study, we made connections between our chosen Exodus chapters and Psalm 77, a lament that is deeply rooted in Catholic theology. This Psalm, known for its poignant expressions of despair and trust in God's saving acts, resonated with the struggles and victories illustrated in Exodus 17-19, and further emphasized the reality of our theme: the spiritual battles we often face.

The lessons drawn from this session reminded us that these spiritual battles are not only daunting but also transcend our human comprehension. But take heart, for we learned that the power of unceasing prayer, akin to the Psalms, can deliver us from these battles and redeem us from our darkest hours.

Photographs of our gathering and a comprehensive guide to our study have been shared for your engagement. We invite you to connect with our experiences and the essence of our session.

Whether you're part of the SFA community or from another parish, our doors are always open to you. We are eagerly looking forward to our next session and hope you will join us. To be part of this enriching journey, register here:
